Mr. Issaka Abdulai Pangasur - CEO of GWAKUNDA ENGINEERING Ltd.
Is the founder and CEO of Freight Consult (Gh) the mother company of GWANKUNDA ENGINEERING LTD. An innovative, hardworking and highly skilled entrepreneur, he has shown his ability to achieve results by building a Million Dollar company single handedly within 15 years. He started out an employee freight agent of a private Freight Agency and shortly afterwards branched out to start his own company after graduating with a University degree. Today his company is sought after by high profile clients, mainly because of the unique service offering he has developed. Gwakunda Engineering is a move to extend his success and skills to newer terrains that he has been able to study from close range by virtue of being a freight consultant.
Mr. Mohammed Fawzi A. Amadu - Operations Manager
He combines expertise in Management and Management Information Systems. He has worked as a Management Consultant in the United States of America and lectured management at the United Arab Emirates University. He has an interest in business developments strategy.
Mr. Abdul Razak Salifu- Director
He has significant experience managing a cotton factory in the North of Ghana and has worked as a manager in the logistics industry for over a decade now.
Mr. Francis M Mahama - Project Manager
He has over nine (10) years working experience and has worked with several mining companies and institutions.
He was with Africa Mining services as junior planner (maintenance), Bonte Gold Mines as a Mine maintenance planner for four (5) years. He also worked with Catrol Company as the operations manager responsible for all operations including fleet rentals, maintenance, civil works and waste management. Has also worked with Trading Maintenance services (TMS) an international company that specializes in Spare parts and an agent for ASTRA Trucks and New Holland construction equipment.
WORK FORCE
The current labour force of the company is a permanent staff of 10 employees. Temporary staff (including technical consultants in specialized areas) who are employed on jon availability basis are also used. Gwakunda maintains a policy to hire more personnel as and when the circumstance demands.
The engineering market is currently buoyant and Gwakunda is well positioned to grow through landing significant contracts. Gwakunda ready to execute any capability related job, because we have been fortunate to attract a group of talented professionals and a loyal workforce, and together we are carrying forward the original basic ideas.
